Celebrating Gifted
May 2025
Greetings to our GT Community!
We are headed into the final month of the 2024-2025 school year, and it has been quite a fun ride!
It has been very exciting to see and celebrate all of the GT students' showcase products from Innovation Hour, TPSP, Science Fair, National History Day, and Mentorship. Congratulations to all of these students on a successful year! We continue to look forward to all of the coming end-of-year celebrations, award ceremonies, and graduations to close out the school year.
We hope you have a delightful summer, and we will send out our first newsletter of the 2025-2026 in August!
Sincerely,
FBISD GT Department.

GT Academy News ππ
The GTA is wrapping up the school year with various off-campus conceptual learning experiences. GTA seventh graders are conducting their annual erosion experiments on Galveston Beach on May 2nd. GTA eighth graders are heading for an overnight of scientific investigation at Camp Olympia in Trinity, Texas on May 8th and 9th. And GTA 6th graders are traveling to the Houston Museum of Natural Science for an interest-based exploration of self-selected permanent exhibits as well as shows in the Planetarium and Giant Screen Theater on May 12th.
