May Procession, Tuesday 5/14 at 6:30pm
We will celebrate another sacred SKS tradition, the school May Procession, on Tuesday 5/14 at 6:30pm. All students need to be in homeroom by 6:15pm so we can begin on time. We will begin by processing out of the front doors of school to the grotto and then into church. Students are to wear winter uniforms. Sacrament classes and the class of 2024 will follow directions from their homeroom teacher for attire. At the conclusion of the May Procession in church, grades K-4 will remain in the pews. Parents, please meet your child at the pews for dismissal. Grades 5-8 will process out to the schoolyard and you may meet your child there for pick up.
We encourage all students to attend this special event to honor our Blessed Mother. Taking this time is one of the most important things we do together as a school community and I thank you in advance for making this event a priority for your family to attend!

Parish Coffee- Sunday May 19th to honor Sr. Mary Elizabeth
Hello and Goodbye!
Parish Coffee
Sunday, May 19 after the 9:30AM Mass
All parishioners are invited to say goodbye to Sister Mary Elizabeth and warmly welcome our new parishioners (40 families so far this year!). You’ll have a chance to thank Sister for her caring work for the parish and school during her 11 years as Director of Religious Education. Enjoy coffee and doughnuts while browsing the “mini” ministry fair, where there will be fliers and information about all of the SKS ministries and activities.
Children who received sacraments this year will be celebrated at Mass and the coffee. We encourage them to wear their sacrament outfits!

Alumni Spotlight
Do you know a recent graduate of SKS doing amazing things in high school and beyond? Please share it with Mrs. Crowley so I can add it to the weekly newsletter. I want to continue sharing the wonderful things our alumni go on to do after their years at SKS!
Two of the top three finishers in the SK5K were recent SKS alumni! Danny Ryan (9th grade) won with an 18:17 time and Fran Forte (12th grade) took third with a 19:33. Congratulations Danny and Fran!
See you at the May Procession!
Looking forward to seeing everyone at our school May Procession on Tuesday at 6:30pm. All students should report to homeroom by 6:15pm. K-4 students will stay in their pews in church and be dismissed there after the May Procession. 5th-8th grade will process out of church and meet parents in the schoolyard. This is one of our school's most beautiful traditions. Thank you for making attendance a priority! Thank you to Mrs. Jones, Mr. Burman, Mr. Heacock, Mrs. Sevag, and the Class of 2024 for preparing this special event for our school.
God bless you!
Mrs. Crowley
