Dear Coleman Families,

We’ve had a fantastic week of learning with our Coleman Warriors! This week, students continued to familiarize themselves with our routines and expectations. We also fine-tuned our dismissal procedures to make them more efficient while ensuring that all our Warriors arrive home safe and sound.

We’re excited to kick off our Fall Mum Sales fundraiser this week. Be sure to check your child’s Thursday folder for the order form.

Throughout the week, our students and teachers focused on the MVR-III pillars of critical thinking, responsibility, respectfulness, and resilience. We are proud of the progress everyone has made!

Enjoy the three-day weekend, and we look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday, September 3rd.

Do you know someone 50+ who would be interested in helping a child learn to love reading and learning? Oasis Intergenerational Tutoring pairs volunteers ages 50+ with children in grades K-3 to work one-on-one each week as their tutors, mentors and friends. They can tutor one child or several, on a one-on-one basis each week throughout the school year.

In compliance with our Healthy Generation School goals, Coleman will focus on healthy celebrations. Student birthdays will be recognized on our daily announcements.

To comply with the national health guideline, we do not accept birthday or holiday treats.

*Every student at Coleman Elementary will receive a birthday pencil and card from the office on their birthday.*
