I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for your efforts in getting your kids to school on time during state testing. Your commitment to ensuring they arrive promptly has made a significant difference in their testing experience and overall success.

We truly appreciate your support and partnership in helping our students perform their best.Please be sure to check the school calendar for upcoming end-of-year activities. We have many exciting events planned that you won’t want to miss!

I am also thrilled to announce our annual Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 26th. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to come together and celebrate our planet. We are currently getting the garden ready for summer, and we invite everyone to join us for a day filled with food and fun for the whole family!

Tully is participating in a new and easy fundraiser. It's called SchoolStore Funds for Schools. A form was sent home with kids this week to fill out and return. Students will get their first prize when they return the signed form. It is a simple online school fundraising program helping school raise money when you shop at specific stores. One of the great things about Tully being located near the Santa Cruz River is that we have many birds that migrate to or through Tucson and we can see and hear them on campus. Some of these birds that students have been utilizing binoculars to observe are red-winged blackbirds, red-tailed hawks, hummingbirds, and our ever-present vermilion flycatcher. Through these hands-on experiences students can experience the concepts that we learn about in the indoor classroom, topics such as plant and animal “habitats”, “the flow of energy from the sun”, and “organism interdependence”.

Remember to “migrate” over to Tully this Saturday, April 26th from 8:30am to 11am for free food and activities at Tully’s Earth Day Celebration – see you then!
