Note From Principal Graham
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families who attended our PTO Fall Fest! Your presence made the event truly special. We hope you enjoyed the games, food, and festivities. A huge shout out to everyone involved that made the event a success. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
We have closed out a very busy October and started November. Please check out the events calendar below for the upcoming activities.
We hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Don't forget to turn the clock back an hour on Sunday as we are entering fall.
We had a wonderful turnout at last week's Fall Festival. We loved seeing the many families and costumes! Thank you to our PTO for organizing another year's successful festival for the students and families. We loved seeing the smiles as students came by the trunk or treating where the OGE staff dressed up and gave out candy, enjoying trying to dunk the various teachers and staff in the dunk tank, enjoying some wonderful food trucks and snow cones, and enjoying the fun bouncy houses. We loved seeing everyone having a great time!

Making Math Fun
In Ms. Fox's 5th grade class, her students finished their adding and subtracting decimals unit with a review activity using a real world application. Students in 5th Grade entered the Fox Den Math Cafe and participated in snacks and ordering "food" from the cafe. Students added and subtracted decimal numbers to the hundredth place. They had so much fun with this lesson.
PreK Pumpkin Fun
This week, 3rd graders participated in a Math Fluency Day! Thank you to all the families who came out to "play" some math games and learn how to engage in math fluency with their students at home!
Each week, students are nominated by teachers and staff for exemplifying our school motto of "Be Kind, Work Hard, Be Brave". Their names are put in for a weekly drawing to be recognized for being caught doing good! Here are this week's Spotlight students! Who will get caught next week?
