The Cardinal Connection

All car rider families and new to Cooke students (including all Kindergarten families) will be issued new 2024-2025 car tags. These must be picked up between now and the first day of school. They will be available for pick up on our Cooke Walkthrough Night on 8/22 as well.

We do request that your child's form of transportation remains consistent. If there is an emergency and you must change your child to a car rider for the day, please send in a note to inform the teacher AND the front office.

*If your child's form of transportation has changed from last year, you must contact the main office as soon as possible!

Students in Grades 4 and 5 will transport Chromebooks to and from school, daily.

All families of students in Grades 4 & 5 MUST complete the following:

1- Technology Agreement Form

AND

2- Pay the $20 Protection Plan fee (Insurance Fee)

If you have driven by Cooke recently you may have noticed that we have construction going on. We are the first school of six in Red Clay to have solar panels installed! While construction will continue for the next several weeks, we are working closely with the installation company and Red Clay Facilities to ensure the safety of our students and staff when they return to Cooke. We are so excited to be part of this new energy initiative!

We know you love it when the stores put out the fresh & new items for the school year! Cooke will provide the necessary supplies to be used while at school. Families are not obligated to purchase school supplies, however, if you choose to donate supplies, please use the list below!

You may bring school supplies to our Cooke Family Walkthrough Event on 8/22 from 3:30-5:30!

It is very important to read through our Cooke Family Handbook! It is full of information about our school and may answer questions that you have about the routines, procedures and expectations at our school!

Many of you have reached out looking for ways you can support our school. We would love to have donations for our MTSS School Store. Students visit this store once per month and use their Cardinal Code Cards they've earned for being respectful, responsible, and ready. We put together an Amazon Wish List. If you choose to donate, the items will be shipped directly to Cooke Elementary School. As always, thank you for your support!
