ROADRUNNER REPORT

Many thanks to our extraordinary PTO, our incredible teachers, and our thoughtful families who contributed to make our Winter Wonderland a success! The performances were charming and the smiling faces of our students lit up the night. What a perfect way to kick off the holiday season!

I hold a large amount of gratitude in my heart for our Palmquist community. It has been deeply heartwarming to see everyone come together in order to ensure ALL our families experience the joy of the holidays. I’ve been inspired to observe so many people sharing their time and talents to make this season memorable for our students and I am grateful to our sweet children for reminding me to slow down and enjoy the magic. Many thanks to each of you for making our school an amazing place to be. I wish you all much love, peace, and happiness!

Las actuaciones fueron encantadoras y las caras sonrientes de nuestros estudiantes iluminaron la noche. ¡Qué manera perfecta de comenzar la temporada navideña!

Siento una gran gratitud en mi corazón por nuestra comunidad de Palmquist. Ha sido profundamente reconfortante ver a todos unirse para garantizar que TODAS nuestras familias experimenten la alegría de las fiestas. Me ha inspirado observar a tantas personas que comparten su tiempo y talentos para hacer que esta temporada sea memorable para nuestros estudiantes y estoy agradecida con nuestros dulces niños por recordarme que debo bajar el ritmo y disfrutar de la magia. OUSD is making an important change in our student progress report/report card distribution process. Beginning this reporting period, progress reports/report cards will no longer be printed and mailed home. Instead, parents and caregivers will access their child's progress reports/report cards electronically through the Aeries Parent Portal.

This shift to digital grade access offers several benefits, including:

• Environmental sustainability: Reduces paper consumption and waste.

• Faster access: Parents can view grades immediately upon release.

• Improved communication: Provides a centralized platform for parents to access student information.

• Cost savings: Eliminates printing and mailing expenses.
