ATTENDANCE UPDATE

Attendance Goal

Stewart Attendance Goal - One of the Stewart building goals for the 2024-2025 school year is to reduce the chronic absenteeism rate to below 13%. Last year, we had a 16% chronic absenteeism rate.

What is Chronic Absenteeism? Chronic Absenteeism refers to the amount of students who miss 10% or more of the school year due to absences.

Current Attendance Rate - Currently, Stewart Elementary is at a 12% chronic absenteeism rate. Thank you for parents for making sure your students are getting to school!

It's getting cold outside!

A few reminders from the nurse - with the weather getting colder please be sure to send your students in appropriate clothing; winter coat, hats, and gloves!

Stewart Boosters Meeting - 11/4

Stewart Boosters will be meeting in the Stewart conference room on Monday, November 4th from 5:15-6:00. Parents who are interested are welcome to join!

NO SCHOOL - 11/11/2024

There will be no school on Monday November 11th 2024.

Stewart Family Math Night - 11/21 @ 5:30-7:00

Come join us at Stewart Elementary on Thursday, November 21st from 5:30--7:00 for a Family Math Night. We will have games and activities revolving around math. It's a great opportunity for family to have some fun together and our students to show off their math brains! Come join us!!
