Principal's Post

Dear Main Elementary Families,


What an amazing school year. As I reflect on my first year here with you, I am so grateful for our students, staff, and families. Your hard work support is what makes Main so special.


I would like to take a moment and recognize Jill Williams. She has worked tirelessly as PTO president for several years and has created many special events for our students. Thank you so much Jill!


I would also like to congratulate Shannon Napier and Joan Spatz on their retirement. They devoted their careers to helping make Main Elementary the amazing place it is. They will be missed.


As summer begins, I will be hard at work setting up next year to be as successful as this year. Please take a moment to fill out our parent survey. Your feedback will help as we make decisions for next year.

Our office will be open the following dates & times during the summer, unless otherwise posted for meetings:


May 22-June 7 and July 22-August 9

8am-11am and 1pm-3pm


We recommend calling our office first at 937-429-7588.

Back to School Open House

All Main Students: Join us for our back to school open house on Tuesday, August 13 from 4-6pm. Bring your school supplies, tour the building, and meet your teacher..


New Main Students: You are invited to a new student orientation from 3:30-4pm on Aug 13, right before our open house, held in the Main auditorium.

Summer Events

Free Tutoring Opportunity

Tutoring at the Beavercreek Community Library will start June 1 and is held on Wednesdays from 4-7pm and Saturdays 10am-1pm. The tutoring is free to students in grades K-12 and they do NOT have to be Beavercreek students. With that said, it is a drop in style and parents do not need to make an appointment. There will be 3 tutors on Wednesday and 2 on Saturday. All of the tutors are either current or retired teachers. Students may bring their own materials, but we also have a plethora of activities for students as well.
