It's May! Wow!!! This year has flown by. Thank you for all the support you have shown us throughout this school year. It has been a joy getting to know each of you, and I look forward to all the wonderful things we will accomplish next year. Please check out this month's newsletter for information on all of the end-of-the-year activities we have planned. This newsletter will be the last for the 2023-24 school year. Check us out on Facebook for updates on summer activities like Kona and a Story, Summer library hours, and more! As always, please feel free to contact me or your child's teacher with any questions.

Yearbook Sales

Staff Appreciation Week: May 6th-10th

Mother's Day Flowers

The PTO is offering an opportunity for your child to purchase flowers for their mother, grandmother, and/or teacher for Mother's Day! Each order is wrapped in tissue with a ribbon and tag.

They will be delivered to the teachers on May 10th to take home for Mother's Day.

Orders will close on May 6th.

Don't wait too long; we have a limited number of flowers!

End of Year Class Parties

End-of-the-year parties will be on May 24th. Your child's teacher will send out more information closer to the event. If you would like to attend, please fill out the RSVP form, and we will have a badge ready for you when you arrive. Guests must be listed on the student's contact list in the portal, and students may only go home with guests listed for pickup. If you need assistance updating your child's portal, please get in touch with Ms. Droemer.

Please pick up all medications by 1:00 pm on the last day of school. We have to discard anything left after the end of the school year.

Library Information

Magnolia Reads Jubilee

The Magnolia Reads Jubilee is quickly approaching! This free event is provided to Magnolia ISD families in order to get free books into the hands of our students. If you have a teenager who would like to help the district librarians with this event, please sign them up today!

Attendance Information

Our attendance goal for this year is 96.5%. Our attendance rate for April was 93.58%. We need your help in getting our kids to school and setting them up for success. Good attendance and work habits start now! When your child needs to be out, please remember to send in a note. You can have your child bring it to the office or email our registrar at ldroemer@magnoliaisd.org.
