News for March 6, 2025
Hello Harambee Families,
Welcome back from Winter Intersession! It is always such a joy to see our students return to the building, filled with energy, excitement, and a readiness to learn. We hope you had a restful break and are looking forward to the weeks ahead.
I want to remind you that Harambee will be in session next week, while schools following a traditional 9-month calendar will be on spring break. Please plan accordingly, and as always, reach out if you have any questions.
Additionally, last weekend marked the beginning of Ramadan, a sacred time of reflection, fasting, and community for many in our school. In some of our classrooms, students have been sharing with their peers the significance of Ramadan and the different ways their families observe this special month. It has been wonderful to see these conversations fostering understanding and appreciation for different cultures and traditions. To all of our Harambee families who are celebrating, I want to extend my warmest wishes for a Ramadan Mubarak.
Same Team,
Principal Nathan
Student Social Emotional Learning & Equity Survey
As part of our commitment to provide Excellence, Innovation, and Equity in All We Do, Roseville Area Schools wants to hear from our students about their experience in our schools. During the weeks of March 17 and March 24 we will be conducting a social emotional and equity survey for students in grades 5-12.
Questions on the survey are about many topics relating to studentβs experiences in school and their social emotional awareness and well-being. The data from the survey will help our district improve the overall school experience for our students.
This annual survey is voluntary and students may decline to take any part of the survey or the whole survey. Students taking the survey will remain anonymous; however, we will gather some student information to disaggregate the data by race, gender, grade level, and school. Please feel free to review the survey questions in the links below and complete the Opt Out Form by Friday, March 7 if you choose to have your student opt out of the survey.
