Weekly Senior Updates - May 3, 2024

Welcome to the last month of the 2023-2024 school year Seniors! I will be sending an update newsletter every Monday during the month of May with reminders about graduation and the end of the school year. If you have any questions, please contact me at akaltved@isd622.org.

GRADUATION STATUS

There are three graduation statuses:

1. On track

2. Not on track to recieve a diploma on time, but eligible for the graduation ceremony

3. Not on track to recieve diploma on time and not eligible for the graduation ceremony

All seniors and their parents or guardians received an email from me at the beginning of Trimester 3 regarding their current graduation status. Here are some additional reminders about graduation:

In order to participate in North or Tartan's graduation ceremony you must have ordered a cap and gown from North or Tartan
In order to participte in North or Tartan's graduation ceremony you can have no more than 2 credits to complete after Trimester 3
Trimester 3 grades count toward your graduation status - failing any Trimester 3 classes can cause you to not receive your diploma on time and be ineligible to participate in the graduation ceremony
All Trimester 3 work is due by 2:45pm on May 31 - there are no exceptions
If you are a PSEO student, please ensure that your college sends 622 Online your final transcript for the scohol year by May 31
The last day of Credit Recovery is May 21
Students will be notified on June 3 if they are ineglibile for the graduation ceremony
Students will be notified on June 4 if they are eligible for the graduation ceremony but must enroll in summer school in order to complete the credits needed to earn their diploma
