APRES Dolphin SWIM Nov '24
An Extraordinary Place to Learn
A Message From Head of School Wilson
Greetings Dolphins,
Thank you to our Dolphin families who came out to volunteer for our annual Book Character Day. The trunk decorations were amazing. Our students really enjoyed dressing as their favorite book characters and everyone was ALL-IN! We look forward to more celebratory events in the future. The partnership between parents and the school creates a more successful experience for our scholars. You all are greatly appreciated.
It is imperative that our car riders arrive to school on time. Please be reminded if your scholar is a car rider, that the building opens at 7:10 am (no student will be allowed entry into the building before 7:10) and students are tardy after 7:40 am. Parents are required to escort late students into the building to sign them in. Students with excessive tardiness (more than 10) are subject to a residence verification check. Any student found living outside of the zone lines for Randolph ES will be withdrawn if proof of residence is not provided. Our scholars academic success depends heavily on them arriving to school on time.
Afternoon carpool ends promptly at 2:45 pm. Any student being picked up after 2:45 pm in excess of 5 times will be required to enroll in an after care program and our School Social Worker will be engaged. Information about our afterschool care programs can be found in the front office. Thank you for picking your scholars up on time.
Students with 5 or more absences will be subject to a residence verification check. Should it be found that your student does not live within the school zone for Randolph Elementary, he/she will be withdrawn until appropriate proof of residence is provided. School attendance is critical to the success of our scholars.
Please take a moment to complete the FCS Annual Parent Perception Survey. The deadline to do so is November 22, 2024. We want to hear from you. Your feedback is valuable in letting us know what we are doing well and what we need to do to improve. Thank you in advance for taking a moment to share your feedback. The link to the survey is below.
First semester is coming to a close with only 5 weeks remaining. November and December will be short months for our scholars. The Thanksgiving Holiday break is the week of November 25-29, 2024. School resumes on Monday, December 2nd. There are several school events that should be on your calendar.

Fulton Dress Code-I.13a Improper Dress
Students in the school system are expected to dress and groom themselves in such a way as to reflect neatness, cleanliness and safety. All students shall dress appropriately so as not to disrupt or interfere with the educational program or the orderly operation of the school. Examples of inappropriate dress and grooming include lack of cleanliness in person or dress; shoelessness; "short-short" clothing; bare midriffs; "tank tops"; "see-through" clothing or apparel which designates gangs or similar organizations or any dress that is disruptive to the educational process. Designated dress involving school activities approved by the principal shall be acceptable. The principal or other duly authorized school official shall determine whether any particular mode of dress or grooming results in a violation of the spirit and/or the intent of this rule.
Please remind your scholars to refrain from tying shirts in the back, creating midriff tops and to ensure their skirts and shorts are no more than 3 inches above the knee. We also encourage young ladies to refrain from wearing skirts on PE days.
Who Do I Contact at Randolph?
The relationship between the school community and families is critical. It is important that our staff is able to meet the needs of our stakeholders in the most effective way possible. We often think the first point of contact in the school setting should be the principal, however, there are staff who have specialized assignments within the building. These team members are often better able to assist more efficiently than the principal as certain requests fall directly in their line of duty. In order to receive the most efficient service, please use the "Who Do I Contact" list as a guide for which team member can best support you.
Infinite Campus Parent Portal
The Infinite Campus portals - Campus Parent and Campus Student - provides access to information for all enrolled students in their household. Information includes grades, attendance, assignments, and school announcements.
13.5- Week Grades will be visible in the Portal after November 13th.
Note: Parents must register the first time they are accessing their account. All students have access to Campus Student via ClassLink.
Complete the Code of Conduct Acknowledgement Form
Fulton County Schools is making its Student Code of Conduct & Discipline Handbook available online in PDF format (click here). Once you have read the electronic version and have reviewed the contents with your student(s), please take a moment to visit Infinite Campus to complete the Acknowledgement of Receipt Form.
School Nutrition
Fulton County Schools offers healthy meals daily. This year all Randolph students will receive free breakfast and lunch. Parents can load money on their student’s account for extra sales, view account balances and purchase history, and set up low-balance reminders by visitingwww.mypaymentsplus.com. Cash payments may also be made at your student’s school.
While we are a free breakfast and lunch school, parents who may qualify for free and/or reduced lunch must complete an application each year. A NEW application must be completed for the 2024-2025 school year. Free & Reduced Meal Applications are available anytime online. Visit www.fulton.schoollunchapp.com to begin the online application process. Families may obtain a paper application from any school cafeteria. If able, all families are encouraged to complete an online application.

Here Comes the Bus
If you do not know your scholar's bus stop times or location, log into our transportation portal for this information.
To do this, visit http://edulogweb.fultonschools.org/livewq/webquery/ and type in your street name and number (It works best if you leave off the Rd, St suffix, i.e. Cascade instead of Cascade Rd.)
Parents are encouraged to sign up for our free “Here Comes the Bus” app that allows students and parents to track their bus in real time. Alerts notify parents when the bus is just a few blocks away from the bus stop, offering safety for students and peace of mind for parents.
Arrival and Dismissal
- Morning car rider drop-off will take place in the front of the school. Randolph staff will be present at the carpool loop to receive students from 7:10am until 7:40am daily. Parents must park vehicles and escort students into the building and sign-in after 7:40am.
- Refrain from parking in the areas marked no parking as this blocks the bus ramp and could result in damage to your vehicle. This is also a safety concern for our scholars.
- Bus rider parents, school busses depart our campus at 2:25pm daily. The FCS Code of Conduct applies to all students transported by school bus.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY - ANY CAR RIDERS WHO REMAIN AFTER 2:45PM WILL BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR AFTER SCHOOL CARE OR BECOME BUS RIDERS.
- Afternoon car riders will be picked up in the front of the school. Cars will enter through the main entrance to the school from Campbellton Rd. Please have your car rider number ready in the window.
- Afternoon car rider parents, please make sure your scholar is picked up by 2:45pm.
- If picked up from school after 2:45pm, your scholar will be seated in the front office. Please park and come in to sign your scholar out. Parents who fail to pick up their scholars before 2:45pm in excess of 3 times will be required to either use bus transportation or secure after school care. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Safety is our priority.
- Early student pick-up ends at 2:00pm daily. Please contact the school if in need of emergency early pick-up.
Should you arrive after 2:00pm to pick up a student, you will be asked to wait outside with the walk up parents until we begin our dismissal process. Please refrain from engaging front office staff with requests to violate this policy.
