Dear ECE Family,

It's no secret January was a rough month for us at ECE as we were short staffed. I am proud to serve on a campus where every person in the building stepped in to ensure your child was safe and had the most normal day(s) possible.


Parents, please continue to communicate with the front office staff or our Nurse in regards to illness or absences. Send in your doctor or medical notes, so that we may excuse those absences.

As per the state, your child must be present 90% of the school year. Your child may have to repeat the same grade level if they do not meet the 90% attendance law.

CHEF Program

Coach Lockridge hosts a CHEF class for 5th grade. On the menu... yummy tostadas! 5th graders received the recipe to make this healthy meal at home.

Congratulations!

Mrs. Sollohub received a $4,000 grant on behalf of the SWISD Education Foundation. All Explorers will receive a visit from Dinosaur George with this grant. Thank you, Mrs. Sollohub!
