The HSA Pod Parents Committee is pleased to introduce the first Pod Parents opportunity for the 2024/2025 school year!

Pod Parents is a monthly program where parent(s)/guardian(s) assist any participating teachers & staff with projects, tasks, and/or other busy work. Volunteers may float amongst the six (6) pods (K - 5th grades), the Main Office and the Library to complete any work during their designated time slot.

Teachers & Staff are looking for help on:

-Tuesday, September 3rd, Wednesday, September 4th, and Thursday September 5th

AND

-Tuesday, September 10th, Wednesday, September 11th, and Thursday September 12th

More information including times & sign-up information will be emailed to parents soon.

The Vernfield HSA invites you to join us for Playground Fun, Games, and Prizes, at the 2024 Back to School Bash, being held at Vernfield Elementary on Friday, September 13th from 6:00 – 8:00pm. More information can be found in the accompanying flyer.

• In order to ensure proper communication with parents, it is critical that we have current contact information on record. Updates to mailing address information must be presented in person at the Souderton Area School District Registration Office. Updates to phone numbers and e-mail address information must be provided in writing to your child(ren)'s school.
  
• Please complete and return the Back-to-School 2024-2025 Information Review, available at the link below, for each of your children that attend Souderton Area School District. The review includes required policy and procedure agreements, as well as important weather-related and health information.

Completed forms should be returned to your child’s school no later than Tuesday, August 27th, 2024.

*If you would like to return your completed Back-to-School Information Review packet via PDF attached to an e-mail, please send to the designated staff member at your home school according to the list found on our Web site. If you are a Souderton Area Virtual Academy student, please return your completed packet to your home school.

The Vernfield HSA fundraising committee is currently seeking recipes for our upcoming "Cooking with Spirit" cookbook fundraiser. Please submit all recipes by Tuesday, October 15th.
