OFFICER SIMPSON'S SAFETY REMINDERS:
PLEASE READ THE NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN ANNOUNCEMENT
Safety is a top priority for everyone on the CGIS campus. Please help us help you and our students by adhering to the following safety reminders:
Front Drop off and Pick Up: Our building opens at 7:00am. If you arrive out front to pull through the drop off line between 7:00-7:15, both lanes may not be open. The left lane will only be open one a staff member is in place to assist traffic. Once a staff member is present, both lanes can be used for drop off. Please do not pull in the parking lot into a parking space to let students out unless you need to enter the building and walk in.
NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Maryville City Police Department has asked for parents to adhere to the following traffic pattern and rules when picking up at our Hilltop pick up area.
Line up single file on Rampart Drive. If the line backs up, please start a car line on Elm Street to get ready to turn onto Rampart. Please do NOT block STOP Signs, Driveways, or Intersections.
Hilltop Pick Up and Drop Off: Hilltop is a single line for pick up and drop off. We have had reports of cars lining up side-by-side and of passing other cars who are still in line while students are exiting cars. Please remain in a single file line and wait your turn to pull up to drop off or pickup. Do not pass on the left side of another car in line.
The Hilltop pickup area is part of neighborhood streets. Please be mindful and respectful of that as you line up to drop off or pick up. Please do NOT block our neighbor's driveways!
Thank you for your help!
