HOB is an I Believe campus. The I Believe program outlines behavior expectations schoolwide. Students who exhibit I Believe behavior are awarded Buc Bucs that can be used to participate in PBIS events.

Each month, the Pirate Post will highlight one targeted behavior. We encourage you to review these with your student each week and ask how they can contribute to the I Believe culture.

Congratulations to our Students (Bucs) of the Month for OCTOBER.

ONE student from each grade level has been chosen by their teachers to represent HOB’s student of the month for OCTOBER. These students exhibit our I-Believe expectations. They practice safe behaviors. They are responsible, respectful to their teachers and peers. They come to school prepared and ready to learn. They empower and positively influence those around them. These students received a Student of the Month certificate and $5.00 gift card to Dairy Queen! Awesome job…keep up the great work!

Friends, family, students, alumni, and community members gathered at the school board meeting to witness the unanimous vote to rename the Horace O’ Bryant School gym court to “Dexter Butler Court.” We will inform the community about the dedication ceremony once the details are finalized.
