Coppell Choir Family,

What a beautiful change in weather; it matches a change in focus in the Coppell Choir Room. Singers have reached a new level of focus and determination this week and have been accomplishing amazing things with their music. We are so impressed with their work!

There are many things happening in the next few weeks. Be sure to check the newsletter closely.

TMEA District Audition is THIS Saturday (9/21). Please be sure to keep practicing your district audition music and check the details below for details.

Homecoming Parade will be on 9/25 and game will be on 9/27. We will have more information later this week but we would LOVE for you to join us to walk with the Choir float on Wednesday and sing the National Anthem on Friday.

SRF Monthly Quizzes

You will take a monthly SRF quiz at the end of every month. This will be a Performance Tasks

Grade. You only get 2 tries so be sure that your wifi connection is good and your audio sound is

on. You have the entire month to take the quiz. Every month’s quiz will be due on the LAST

FRIDAY of the month at 10PM. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

SRF Practice Log

Each singer is expected to practice sight reading on SRF for 10 minutes per week (2 minutes

each day of the week) and 40 minutes per month. This will be a completion grade. SRF will

keep track of all your practice log data. We will give one Performance Tasks monthly SRF

Practice Log each month. Please be sure to practice SRF weekly. Each week will start on SUNDAY and end on SATURDAY.

Walk with the Choir float on September 25th, Wednesday!!

Details:

• 5:30 PM - Drop off at Cottonwood Creek Elementary

• 5:30 - 6PM - Meet Coppell Choir at the parade float staging area (no later than 5:30PM - You will NOT be able to participate, if you arrive AFTER 6PM)

• 6:30 PM - Parade begins
• 7:30 PM - Parade ends / Pick up

Please join us to sing the National Anthem at the Homecoming Game on Friday! You will wear 24-25 Choir shirt.

• After School - 5:30 PM - Come to the CHS Choir Room and eat Pizza

• 5:30 PM - Go to the CHS Small Gym

• 5:30 PM - 6:20 PM - Rehearse

• 6:20 PM - Walk to the football field

• 6:50 PM - Perform National Anthem

• 7 PM - Singers will stay for the game or walk back to get picked up
