Mrs. Mulvanerty's Update
August 18, 2024
September 29 , 2024
Greetings, SKS!!!
We kicked off the week with our first Fall Classic Fundraiser. What a pleasure it was to see so many SKS supporters from past parents, current parents, grandparents, and grads! Special thanks to all who contributed by attending and/or sponsoring the event, supporting our auction, and especially to Moira and Tom Hobson and their team for leading the charge!
This week, I'm feeling inspired by our second graders who recently learned about the concept of "filling each other's buckets." The idea is simple: when we do something kind for someone else, we fill their emotional bucket. The second graders shared many ideas of the ways they can fill each other's buckets; some of their examples are below!
In honor of our second graders, I challenge all of us to find a way to fill someone's bucket this week at home, school or in your community. Let's follow their lead, reminded that kindness is contagious, and that it doesn't take much to make a big impact!
Wishing you all a fabulous week ahead!

Important Safety Announcements from Radnor Police
Carline and Walkers
Radnor Police visited this week to remind us of the importance of our carline procedure and the impact this has on school and neighborhood safety. They stressed that parents should not park in the neighborhood or the parish center so their kids can be dismissed as "walkers." If you are picking up your child in the car, kindly use the carline. And, don't be a "budger" -- please enter Mildand Avenue from St. David's Road. Officers will be checking and reminding people of the procedures in the upcoming days, so please be cooperative.
SKS Fall Classic
THANK YOU!
Special thanks to Moira and Tom Hobson for spearheading a wonderful event! I'd also like to thank Chet Walsh for the coordination of golf, Kate Libby for her work on the auction, Jessie Bryan for all of her work on ticketing, and Bud Tosti for his collaboration and leadership. What an all-star team!
