SCHOOL-WIDE NEWS
BACK TO SCHOOL IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- No student drop off before 7:20am.
- No one day bus changes. All bus changes are permanent.
- Stay in car when dropping off your student (s) in the pick up loop.
- Stay in car when picking up student in the pick up loop, do not park and walk towards doors.
- No parking in the bus loop.
- If student is tardy, please park, and walk them to the office.
- No drop off of lunch, water bottles, sweaters, etc., after 9:00am. If you drop off an item after 9:00am, the student will receive it the following day.
- Please call in pick up changes before 2:00pm.
- DO NOT leave a voicemail changing student dismissal instructions. Always call and speak to someone.
- No student pick up after 2:00pm.
- Students must abide by the school dress code. Please review the information below:
PTA NEWS AND EVENTS
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL HAPPENINGS
5th Grade Ballroom Dancing Experience
All 5th Grade students during their scheduled PE classes will participate in these lessons. They will begin the week of September 10th.
2024-25 PKS Patrols
Our patrols are already working hard keeping a watchful eye on our students' safety.
MIDDLE SCHOOL HAPPENINGS
Teachers and their Student Aides!
Plantation Key School loves our student aides. They provide support for teachers in classrooms. They are tasked with reading to students, organizing materials, assisting during science experiments and more!! Meet 2 of our student aides, Maddie and Hannah Welch. They are bringing the whole teacher/student aid thing to the next level!
PKS PBIS has been very busy!!!
PBIS students presented teachers and staff with beautiful hand painted coasters with a reminder to keep hydrated during the day.
