The bus garage is looking for high school students who would like to have summer employment. The student would work up to 28 hours per week Monday-Thursday at $10 per hour cleaning buses and helping to clean up around the garage. We are looking for motivated students who do not mind working outside and who will be able to work without constant direct supervision. Apply on the Burke County School website under employment opportunities.
If students are absent, notes need to be submitted to the office within 5 days of their return to school. Otherwise, they will not be accepted.
- Students that are driving to school need to purchase a parking permit asap from Ms. Bentley in the main office.
- All students that drive to school must park on school premises.
- Freedom park is NOT a school premise.
- Students that do not have a permit must park down at the field house.
- Security has started issuing parking tickets and they will be added to your My School Bucks account.
- Please stop by and see Ms. Bentley with any assistance you may need regarding parking permits.
9th grade students, please check your email for information about driver education. Emails will be sent out two weeks before each class starts.
