Leading our school's Veteran's Day assembly was a true honor. Our students were full of pride as they escorted family members to be honored with certificates of appreciation. Our girl scout troops, band, and special guests from Chino Hills High School did an amazing job.

To all Veterans, on behalf of the entire Wickman staff, I would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation for your service. Thank you for your patriotism, love for our country and willingness to serve and sacrifice for each one of us.

"Congratulations to Wickman!!

On behalf of California PBIS, we are pleased to recognize Michael G. Wickman Elementary

School of the Chino Valley Unified School District for successful PBIS implementation at

the PLATINUM level. Your school is a recipient within the California PBIS Recognition

System, reflecting excellence in the implementation of the core features of PBIS."

The photos below show the results of Wickman's Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) and The California Dashboard Overview.

Our district and school uses this data to monitor our progress towards meeting the needs of each of our students. We also use this information to determine our next steps in our ongoing goal to better serve the students at Wickman Elementary School.

I'm attaching a survey below to get you input regarding our current PBIS systems of support.

It was a lot of fun scooping ice cream for our students at the Baskin Robin fundraiser event. Congratulations to Ms. Martinez' class for having the highest student participation. They are the winners of the Baskin Robins class ice cream party.

7:20 AM Breakfast begins

7:30 AM- Entrance Gate opens for students grades 1st - 6th to enter campus

7:50 AM- School instruction begins and gates close. If you arrive after 7:50, please come into our office to sign-in your child.

2:30 School dismissal (Mon. Tues. Wed. & Fri)

11:20 School dismissal every Thursday

Kindergarten

Please walk your child to the kindergarten gate by 7:40am. Teachers will meet you at the gate at 7:40 to bring the students into class.

Kindergarten Dismissal is at 11:10 daily.

Kindergarten lunch at school is optional. Parents wishing to participate in lunch, please walk your child to the office after dismissal and we will direct your child to the lunch area. Parents will need to wait in our office area as their child eats their lunch.
