PICTURES & NEWS
TRIUMPH CANDIDATE FORUM
Triumph students gathered to hear 4th, 5th and 6th grade candidates present their cases for why they should become representatives for their learning community. It took a lot of courage to stand up in front of the entire group. The photos linked below are of several 4th and 5th graders. One student was not able to be present during the forum and submitted a video speech for everyone to hear.
TRAVELERS 2ND GRADE ART
Students were decorating their art work folders with self portraits or drawings of other things when these photos were taken.
GUIDANCE WITH IMAGINATION 2ND GRADE
Ms. Rath, one of the guidance counselors, helped students in Ms. Koldy's class learn to advocate for themselves. She taught them that using "I..." statements will let other people know what you are thinking and will improve overall communication among students and with teachers.
EXPLORERS 3RD GRADE TROPICAL CLOTHING DAY
With the arrival of colder weather, it is natural to think back wishfully to warmer days. Here is a picture of Ms. Halvorsen's students decked out in tropical wear.
EXPLORERS IN THE LIBRARY
11-16-2023. Two of the photos were taken by a 2nd grade Team Imagination student.

LIBRARY
STICKER ART POSTER COMPLETED
Ms. Levine makes sticker art challenges available in the library each school year. Students who have a few moments can place a few squares on the blank poster. Different sticker colors are placed using coordinates. Over weeks, a hidden picture emerges. It is fun trying to figure out what the image is before each sticker-art poster is completed.
