WE READ-READ-READ together every day!

During the last week of February and the first week of March, Wilkesboro Elementary will take part in a special, community wide shared reading event called One School, One Book. Everyone – students, parents, teachers, even administrative staff – will be reading The World according to Humphrey by: Betty G. Birney. All students get their own copy, and we hope your family can find 15 minutes each day to read together at home. Reading together is a great way to connect, learn about the world, and have important conversations about growing up. If you need help or get behind in the reading, you can always find a staff member reading today's chapters aloud here. We will also share fun things to explore each day! We hope you'll enjoy The World according to Humphrey.
