A Moment With Mrs. O'Donnell
Dear Attea Families and Students,
Our Flyers would like to thank our SPAT PTA for supporting our fun Friday at our Winter Bash! What a fantastic example of partnership, community, and enjoyment!
This week, we have a steady week of learning! We will be celebrating our Crossing Guard, which assists in keeping our students who are walking to school safe. Consider giving our Crossing guards a wave, smile, and thank you. Let’s continue to spread kindness within our community!
All IN For Kindness @Attea,
Mrs. O’Donnell
Principal
Week At A Glance
New Car Line Route
This past week was our first week of the new car line route. Overall, it was a success and hopefully you felt like the line moved a little faster. Please remember school-wide car line expectations to ensure safety for students, staff, and drivers:
Pull up all the way to the end of the drive to ensure the line keeps moving.
Students exit on the curbside only.
Do not leave the line and cut around stopped cars.
Do not park in the Attea lot closest to the Park Center/Enterprise Drive for drop-off and pick-up. Having your child cross the traffic line and walk through the parking lot is extremely dangerous.
Encore Enrichment
As we prepare for Trimester 3, students who are not enrolled in Band or Orchestra have the opportunity to provide input that will be used to help determine their Encore Enrichment class. Students will rank the classes in order of preference. It is important to note that once a student has taken an Encore Enrichment class, that class will not be taken again during their time at Attea. If you get your third choice this year, you will be more likely to get your first or second choice next year. Additionally, sixth grade students are able to rank the classes they have been assigned to in T1 and T2. Please have conversations with your child(ren) regarding their preferences. Encore teachers reviewed the choices and expectations this past week. The survey is a Google Form that will be delivered to your child’s email address. The survey will close on Sunday, February 9, 2025. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child’s Encore teacher(s).

PTA Snack Sign-up - Support After School Clubs!
PTA is asking for volunteers to provide snacks to our student participants in clubs/sports for the remainder of the school year. Volunteers would select an item from the sign-up form and bring it to Attea at the beginning of the month. Club sponsors really appreciate this extra incentive for students who participate in our after school programs!
