Colonial Park Weekly News
December 16 - 20
Principal's Note
Dear Colonial Park Families -
The countdown is on...five days until December break! We are excited for our Pajama Day/Food Drive on Friday, December 20!
What a wonderful Winter Concert we had to celebrate the season! Thank you to Mrs. Kuhn and our performers for working so hard preparing for the show, and thank you to all our Colonial Park families for joining us. I truly believe that was our biggest crowd ever, and I am grateful for so many people that stayed until the end to enjoy the entire concert. Special thanks to Liz Benbow for filming the concert and providing us with the link!
I know I say this often, but I am so grateful for the generosity of this community. Immediately after Ms. Faughnan reached out regarding items still available on our Giving Tree, our families responded! Our Project 351 Food Drive is going well already, and we still have our Pajama Day collection. We've also filled our Coats for Kids box and our Socks for Seniors box multiple times. Thank you so much for supporting us each and every time we ask.
It's a good time of year to remind everyone of our Arrival procedure. Please take a moment to read our Arrival Reminders included in this week's edition.
I would like to wish everyone a very joyous holiday and a restful vacation week with your family. AS a reminder, all Stoneham Public Schools will be closed Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3. We will welcome our students back on Monday, January 6. Enjoy the time together!
Best,
Rosa Flynn

In order to keep our students safe, our families need to follow the expectations for arrival.
If you arrive prior to 8:35, please park in the parking lot not along the curb or in the surrounding neighborhood. You may park along the curb after 8:35, since K-4 arrival is over.
Do not under any circumstances make a three-point turn. Please drive through and exit appropriately.
Please drive slowly on school property.
If a family member that does not receive the weekly newsletter drops your child off at school, please explain the procedure to them.
K-4 Families
Please take a moment to carefully read the information below.
- If there is indoor Morning Arrival, there will be a flag displayed outside of Door 8 and at the main entrance. Indoor Arrival begins at 8:15.
