Welcome to the latest edition of Panther News! This month’s newsletter features important upcoming dates and exciting events happening around our school. As we approach spring break, we hope all of our students, families, and staff take time to rest and recharge. We look forward to returning with the same strong work ethic and commitment to academic excellence that define our Panther community.

Parent teacher conferences will be on April 3rd and 8th. We will be sending out the sign up form on March 20th. Please be on the lookout.

As part of our school-wide "Read Across America" week activities, the Student Council members read to students in 3K-2nd grade.

As part of Music in Our Schools week, we hosted Disney Madness, where students voted for their favorite Disney song — the winning song will be revealed at the end of the month! We also welcomed high school students for a special concert on March 14th. Additionally, our 4th graders enjoyed an exciting Instrument Walk, giving them the opportunity to see, hear, and explore a variety of musical instruments.

Throughout February, our students dove into the world of coding during STEM class! Kindergarteners used Bee-Bots to sequence stories, while first and second graders explored color coding with Indi and Ozobot robots. Third graders got creative with Makey Makey circuits to code their own games, and fourth graders mastered loops and sequences using Dash robots. It was incredible to see our students think like programmers, applying their problem-solving skills with curiosity and excitement!

The open enrollment application period for the 2025-26 school year runs from February 3 to April 30, 2025, closing at 4:00 PM.

Our weekly prizes are provided by family donations. We are always seeking toy or prize dontations to keep our stock supply healthy. Prizes between $5 - $15 are perfect. You can drop them off in the office with Mrs. Kristi at any time

Each week on Friday, we will draw 3 winners of our weekly prizes. Students work hard to get their panther paws filled out during the school day. Whenever they fill their card of paws, they will get a sucker from their homeroom teacher, and have a chance to enter their paw into a drawing for a bigger prize. Please continue to encourage your child to work hard in school, follow the panther way, and keep getting their paw cards filled up.

Below are the winners of our monthly ROAR awards. These students were selected by their homeroom teacher as students that exemplify what it means to follow the panther way. The students pictured below have demonstrated leadership for their peers and always follow the school wide expectations. Thank you to these students for being role models at school!
