Drop-Off
For both health and safety reasons, as well as beneficial transitional reasons, we ask our parent(s)/guardian(s) not to accompany your child. As will be the case on the first day of school, we ask that you arrive at the start time (no earlier than 5 minutes prior to the start time), pull your car around on the car loop and allow your child to exit your vehicle from the passenger side when a staff member indicates we are ready to do so. Please do NOT have your child leave your vehicle before a staff member indicates it is safe to do so. We ask that you stay inside your vehicle during drop-off. Your child will enter through the following arrival doors.
Kindergarten, 1st grade and 3rd grade - Main entrance
2nd grade, 4th grade, and 5th grade - Middle entrance
*There will be staff outside to greet your children and help them find their way.
Please note that if you will be doing parent drop-off during the year, these are the same procedures we will follow on a regular day of school. You should then park your car in either the upper or lower parking lot to wait until the end of the sneak peek event. Please do NOT line back up after dropping your child off, as this will prevent others from dropping off.
During Sneak Peek
Your child’s teacher will walk your child into the building, show your child important locations and procedures and take them to see their classroom. Each family will be provided with two car tags at the sneak peek event that will go home with the child that day.
Pick-Up
Please wait until 5 minutes before the end time to line up to pick your child up. Please hold up a temporary sign in your front windshield with your child's last name visibly and legibly written. Our teachers will walk the students out to meet you at your car. Starting on the first day of school, parent(s)/guardian(s) must use the assigned car tags when picking up their child from school.
