A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPALS:
Hello and welcome back, EV Families!
We hope that you had a nice holiday (if you celebrated), and had time to relax and recharge over the break. We missed you all!
It is hard to believe that we are now in April and are in the home stretch of the school year. Students have the next ten weeks or so to finish their preparations for the next grade level. We here at EV promise to continue to deliver high quality instruction with a sense of urgency! We ask that you all continue to highlight learning at home as well. This is that exciting time of year where we typically see students "sprout" with their academic and social/emotional growth.
Just a reminder that we are here for you all if you have questions, need anything, or even want to check in on your children. We thank you for the ongoing partnership and are proud of the effectiveness of our collaborative work. Take care and have a great week!
Sincerely,
Jason Lewis

Curiosity is what helps children to be open to possibilities and motivates them to learn - both inside the classroom and beyond it. Students with greater curiosity have greater academic success than less curious peers. In fact, a meta-analysis of two hundred studies involving over fifty thousand students found that curiosity is as important as intelligence in determining how well kids do in school.
But this character strength also inspires children to think in new ways, make discoveries, and sparks interests and stirs creativity. It helps kids want to acquire new information, consider exploring new horizons and inspires them to chase their dreams.
