Principal's Message
Hello Dickinson Families!
As we approach the last week before Thanksgiving break, we want to remind everyone of the importance of being on time to school each day. Every minute counts, and arriving promptly sets students up for success! This includes checking students out early from school. Our teachers have engaging lessons planned every minute of the school day.
This is free dress week for students who paid or it was included in their PTO membership. Please be sure we are still following the LCISD dress code.
Below you will find a sign up genius for a pie donation for our teachers. Please consider signing up to donate a pie to our staff for the holiday. Pies are being collected on Thursday, November 21st. Thank you for your consideration and support as we spoil our staff to show them how thankful we are for all they do for our students everyday!
We also encourage families to make time for learning at home by engaging in reading or completing a little work on technology programs. Please see additional information below.
Thank you for helping us finish strong before the holiday. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
If you have any concerns or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Warm Regards,
Channon Almendarez

The culture of Dickinson Elementary includes a partnership with our community. Last year, our parents volunteered hundreds of hours to support our students and staff. We value our partnership as together we educate our dolphins. This year all volunteers are required to register as a volunteer. This includes PTO Board Members, work room volunteers, Watch Dog Dad volunteers, room parents, field day volunteers, library volunteers, and the list continues! Please visit this website to begin the process:
