Seniors
Financial Aid Application Requirement – Student Opt-Out
As a senior, you are required by California law (CEC § 51225.7) to complete either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application (CADAA), unless you choose to opt out. If you decide not to submit a financial aid application, you can complete an opt-out form.
Opting out now does not mean you cannot apply for financial aid later. You are still welcome to submit a FAFSA or CADAA in the future whenever you are ready.
