Principal Updates
Hello Krahn Family,
It has been a fantastic kick-off to the school year! Your kids have been working hard to learn their routines and procedures while also diving into beginning of the year assessments and learning. We hope you will join us for Open House on September 19th for more information on what to expect for your child's learning this year. .
We love to partner with our families to make it a great experience for our students. Please see below for ways to support at home with family curriculum guides or ways to volunteer to help the school. In September, students' learning will take off. Please continue to encourage students at home and ask them about what they are learning.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or the school office. We are here to support you and your child. I am looking forward to an amazing school year.
Thank you,
Laura Hall
Interim Principal

Cardinal Cart
As a way to set students up for success we implement PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support). This system is a proactive support while preventing unwanted behaviors through positive reinforcements while building relationships. A school wide incentive we implement is the Cardinal Cart. This cart is filled with items students can purchase with their Cardinal Cash bi-weekly.
We had our first visit to the Cardinal Cart last Friday. It was so exciting to see students be motivated to make good choices and earn a positive reward for that hard work.

Campus Guard
Our number one priority is to always keep everyone safe here at Krahn. Our new Campus Guard, Officer Williams is joining us this year in order to achieve that goal. We are grateful Officer Williams has joined our family.
