Lights on After School: Thank you families for supporting our after school programs by attending our Lights On After School Events. We had and incredible turn out! Lights on After School is a nationwide event, that shines a light on the impact after school programs are making inspiring learning and supporting the well-being of youth and families.

As part of our policies and procedures Extended Learning works closely with all school sites to comply with the districts Safety Procedures. Our staff receives safety training at the start of every school year as well as before each intersession and Summer Camp that matches the practices at the school sites for fire, earth quake, shelter in place, secure campus, lock down and other disasters.

All extended learning staff participated in the Nov. 1 district wide Professional Development Day on Big Five Safety Protocol along with their assigned school site.

Winter Intersession Takes Flight: We have an incredible program planned for Winter Intersession December 16 to 20. Students will be able to learn about being a pilot, drones, aeronautics, do sports, and theater arts and much more! See the flyer below for information on how to sign-up.

Sports: We are pleased to announce the success of our 5th and 6th grade Flag Football program. As we move forward, our next offering will be Basketball. Parents planning to attend Friday games are kindly reminded to complete the Parent Code of Conduct form and submit it to the after-school program staff at your respective site. We encourage all attendees to model good sportsmanship by cheering for both teams. Please refer to the schedule below for the locations of Friday’s games. Additionally, our Flag Football Jamboree is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 16, with further details to be provided via ParentSquare. Our students are enthusiastic about the upcoming events, and we look forward to your participation and support!
