AHERA Letter to Families
Title 1 Family NIght
We had a super positive first couple of days of school:-) Right away our students where ready to get started, and do their best in learning something new! Please continue to have your kiddo get to bed on time, share a book together, and support them to start their day with us with breakfast at 8:20 am to jumpstart their learning day. Thank you for supporting your student become their best selves!
In our ongoing commitment to prioritize the health and well-being of our students and staff, we want to inform you about our KPBSD Symptom-Free Protocol. This protocol is designed to create a safer environment for everyone by minimizing the risk of the spread of illnesses. We kindly request that you ensure your child is symptom-free before sending them to school each day. This includes checking for common symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, and difficulty breathing. If your child exhibits any of these symptoms or has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for an infectious illness, we strongly encourage you to keep them at home, and consult with the clinic. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter, as the collective efforts of our school community are crucial in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
Remindar to parents and guardians to please update your child(ren)'s information and permissions or new/ returning students for the 2024-2025 school year! Please follow this link to update:-)
Thank you to Tebughna Foundation and Dena'ina Strong, Inc. for backpack, supplies, water bottles, and extra goodies of snacks for our kiddos! We're so grateful for our partnerships in starting off with a healthy, and happy kick off to their school year:-)
