OPT OUT 2024 Summer Chromebook Use
Summer Chromebook Use
Salt Creek School District 48 will be changing its summer technology practices. Starting this summer, all district-issued Chromebooks will go home with students for summer use. This only applies to students in grades 1 through 7 who are fully registered for the 24-25 school year. Summer technology will not be an option for our current kindergarten students, as those Chromebooks remain in Kindergarten each year.
In order to opt-out please complete the following Google Form.
If you would like to opt-out, please respond by Friday, May 24. If no response is received, and your child is fully registered, then your child will be sent home with their Chromebook.

Swartz Drop Off & Pick Up
With the colder weather and snow piled up, drop off and pick up at Swartz can be more challenging. Please follow the guidelines below to keep drop off/pick up running smoothly.
- Pull up as far as you can to allow multiple cars to unload at one time. Cones will be out for the last few parking spaces to help with this.
- Stay in single line (no double rows).
- Use Monterey to proceed to the line. Do not turn down Elder and turn around in a resident's driveway.
- Drive the speed limit when driving on Monterey and any streets around the school.
- Do not park on the east side of the building. This can be very dangerous, it blocks traffic and slows down the line.
- Do not wait and watch your child enter the building. If you need to watch your child enter the building, please park on the west side of the building and walk your child to the front entrance. We have a supervisor on duty from 7:30-7:40 am.

She teaches them yoga poses while incorporating stories throughout the year. The students will use different manipulatives like scarfs, ribbons, and different kinds of balls. Ms. Rae also discusses different types of emotional zones there are and how yoga can help you through these types of emotions.
