Softball Results 4/4
The struggle was real with an 8-0 deficit in the first 3 innings against Simley, but the Panthers started to make a comeback in the top of the 4th scoring 4 runs with a lead-off single by Jenna “Jackhammer” Schleusner. Peyton “Bam Bam” Barnett walked and Jaedyn “Jack of all Trades” Voeltz and Lauren “Champ” Elsmore each had an RBI single. Kiley “Clutch” Passow added an RBI single to plate Maddy “Steady” Skibsted. Skibsted added to the cause in the 5th with a double down left. Kiley “Clutch” Passow led off the 6th with a single and was plated by Jenna “Jackhammer” Schleusner’s double. In the 7th, Ruby “Rock n Roll” Severson led off with a single, stole 2nd, advanced to 3rd and was plated by Passow during a squeeze play, but the Panthers fell short one run. Maddy “Steady” Skibsted led on the mound for 5 innings giving 5 hits and only 1 earned run.

Community Service Hours
We will be adding a Community Service Hour requirement to our Honors Pass opportunity. Along with the current requirements, students will need to complete a minimum of 3 hours of service at an approved location each quarter. These hours will be collected and confirmed prior to earning the Honors Pass for the following quarter. This will go into effect first quarter of the 2025-2026 school year. Students will be able to complete these hours this quarter, or over the summer. We will share more information during the State of the School assembly on Friday, April 11.
The Mantorville Theatre is having a student-led show this summer. The show will run August 22-24. Everything will be run by students, with the help/supervision of adults. Our student director is Cooper Worden (he will be a sophomore at Kasson-Mantorville this fall).
Auditions for the student show will be on Monday, May 5 & Tuesday, May 13 at 7 pm. All middle to high school aged students are welcome. We will be looking for students to help with costumes, set building, and lights/tech in addition to actors and actresses.

Student School Board Rep for 2025-2026
The School Board is seeking student representatives for next year. They are seeking 1 junior and 1 senior representative. Please CLICK HERE for more information and to apply. The deadline to apply is April 11, 2025.
Good Samaritan Program
The Good Samaritan program is created to help recognize our students who go out of their way to help others. Here are the details.
Students who are spotted doing something extraordinary to help others, will be given a “ticket”. Each ticket has a number on it.
Students who receive one of these tickets from a staff member will need to turn the ticket in to Mr. Menk prior to the end of each sports season in order to be eligible to win the prize.
Each ticket recipient who returns the ticket to Mr. Menk will be added to a spreadsheet of eligible winners for that season.
Every season (Fall, Winter, and Spring), there will be a drawing for one winner of a Stanley water bottle.
The winner for the Winter season is McKenna Knudson. Congratulations, McKenna and thank you for being a good samaritan!
