How YOU Can Play a Role in Strategic Planning
In this second year of the MRH 5-Year Strategic Plan, the Board of Education is asking for your recommendations regarding budget priorities.
On September 5, the Board assembled a large group of families and other stakeholders for a roundtable presentation by District administrators on revenue sources, expenses, capital projects and debt management. A condensed version of the presentation can be found on our website. After reviewing it, please take a few moments to complete this VERY SHORT survey asking for your top areas of emphasis for District spending.
The Board also reminds all interested stakeholders to join any of several Strategic Plan advisory committees by filling out our online form.
The next installment of the Board’s Community Roundtables series will take place on February 6, 2025.

PTO: A Great Way to Become Involved in the Life of Your Child's School
Parent involvement in a child's education is a crucial factor in finding success at school. The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) works to support staff and students in their respective schools by organizing volunteers, hosting special events, coordinating fundraisers, and much more. Parents are encouraged to join at any time during the school year. To receive additional information regarding PTO, please contact MRH school principals or check out the PTO website at www.mrhpto.org

Middle School Cardboard Boat Regatta Video
Not merely an annual end-of-summer celebration, the Middle School Cardboard Boat Regatta is a lesson in physics, teamwork and sometimes humility. We thank Maplewood City Hall and area first responders for providing the city pool and support services for the umpteenth year in a row.

The Blue Devil Spotlight for September 16
This week, the Blue Devil spotlights shines on MRH Thespians Troupe 3189. Twice a year, these theatre students organize food drives to benefit Weekend on Wheels (WOW), the MRH community nutrition support network. Two weekends ago, they fanned out across Richmond Heights, delivering food collection fliers. Then on Sunday, they returned to the neighborhoods to retrieve the donations. They will repeat this process next spring, but in the city of Maplewood instead. We salute Troupe 3189 as well as leadership of WOW for their ongoing commitment to helping meet the needs of our community!
