The eLeader
The official digital newsletter of La Porte ISD
Greetings, La Porte ISD Family.
Today is a great day to be a Bulldog! This past week was huge for our district, as one of our stellar student-athletes competed at the UIL State Cross Country Championships; one of our outstanding scholars placed sixth nationally in an FFA event; and late Friday, we learned that the La Porte Bulldogs are the 2023 8-5A District Champions! Also, the Mighty Bulldog Marching Band and Color Guard officially wrapped up the competition season this weekend as finalists at the US Bands Houston Finale in Katy. Meanwhile, our thespians from La Porte Jr. High put on a wonderful one-act play at competition in Deer Park! Bravo to all of our fine and performing artists!
At La Porte ISD, we strive for continuous improvement in everything we do, and we need your help. Recently, we sent an email survey link to all La Porte ISD parents to help guide us in our efforts to make this district even better. Please consider completing this survey if you have not done so already. You can find it in the email account that you have registered with the district. Just search "La Porte ISD survey," and you will find it. I am grateful to you for helping La Porte ISD continue its legacy of excellence.
