Our campus has committed to providing all of our students with 2 snacks a day. Many students bring their own snacks but we do have some that are not able to. Please help us keep our snack pantry stocked!

Extra snacks will be donated to the students that participate in our Weekend Backpack program.

Last Thursday, September 5th, was the day that meal charging limitations and alternate meals started. This year, lunch charge guidelines have changed. Per CISD Board of Trustees Policy CO (Local), students are allowed 15 days (breakfast and lunch) to charge their meals.

Our staff is working diligently with families to ensure that they are connected with any available resource to help with school lunch meals.

Nurse Green, under the guidelines of the Texas Department of State Health Services, provides a screening program for vision and hearing for all students in pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th grades and for students new to Texas. We will be conducting vision and hearing screenings through the fall semester. Please be sure that your student brings their glasses to school every day if they wear glasses. If your student does not pass the vision or hearing screening at school, you will receive a referral communication from the nurse with the results provided. It is recommended that any students not able to pass the vision or hearing screening at school receive a professional eye or ear exam. Please contact the clinic with any concerns or questions.
