Experience Berkeley Program Information Session
Join us for an in-person information session about the Experience Berkeley Program—a free resource for Black, Latinx, Native American, and Pacific Islander-identifying community college students. This program provides one-on-one mentoring, UC application support, financial aid guidance, and more, to help students prepare for transfer to UC Berkeley.

5th Annual Sandra Diaz Health Professions Round Panel
Registered Nurses on the Frontlines in Honor of Woman's History Month
Join this tribute career panel! Registered Nurses will share their academic and career journey as a way to inspire and motivate our De Anza students towards a career in the healthcare industry. These panelists will share their journey, challenges and celebrations and their current role in the frontlines. Nursing instructor Sandra Diaz, who passed away on January 29, 2021, was a vital member of the De Anza College community – first as a student, and later as a faculty member, colleague and friend. Join us in memory of Sandra Diaz and her dream in educating young people.

Leadership and Scholarship Program $1500
Leadership and Scholarship Program forms the cornerstone of the Chicana Latina Foundation. Each year we award merit-based scholarships valued at $1500 to 40-45 powerful Latina students. The application will open on January 1, 2025 and will close on March 31, 2025.
Scholars are selected for:
- Commitment to equality and justice for Chicana and Latina women
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience on behalf of the Latinx community
- Clarity of direction and goals
- Ability to overcome personal challenges and obstacles
- Academic achievement

2025 UCLA Richard Morgan Undergraduate Fellowship Program
The UCLA Richard Morgan Undergraduate Fellowship Program aims to increase diversity in the physician-scientist workforce by providing individualized research preparation and mentorship for undergraduate students who plan to apply to MD-PhD programs, including the UCLA-Caltech Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP).

Research - The NSF Distributed Research Experiences for Undergraduates (DREU) program
The NSF Distributed Research Experiences for Undergraduates (DREU) program offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to immerse themselves in computing research and gain firsthand experience working with faculty mentors at institutions across the U.S. This 10-week summer program helps students explore what graduate school is like, while mentors support the next generation of researchers and promote diversity within the computing field.

UCB Transfer Program still looking for Applicants!
The Experience Berkeley Transfer program at Stiles Hall is looking for eligible first-generation and/or low-income underrepresented students, who are interested in receiving *free* UC application support, mentorship, and connections to UC Berkeley, to apply to the 2025 program!
This free program provides Black, Latinx, Native American, and Pacific Islander community college students with mentors, tools, and resources to complete a competitive application and prepare for transfer to UC Berkeley.

Ohlone Hacks 2025
Ohlone Hacks is proud to present Ohlone Hacks - One of the first Community college Hackathon in Fremont, California, planned to be hosted from February 22-23 2025. Hosted at Ohlone College in the Bay Area, this hackathon is a groundbreaking opportunity for students to work collaboratively within a limited timeframe to ideate, create, and pitch innovative solutions to tackle real-world problems—all within a 24-hour timeframe.

Quantitative Bio Institute YES FELLOWSHIP at UCSF
The UCSF QBI Internship is a six-week, paid internship program designed for students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds to gain hands-on experience in STEM research. Fellows will work alongside mentors at UCSF’s QBI labs, developing essential skills for a future career in life sciences. At the end of the program, interns will present their research at the annual symposium.

Internship - American Cancer Society Diversity in Cancer Research Internship
This internship offers a holistic curriculum designed to provide underrepresented minority undergraduate students from San Francisco Bay Area schools with the tools and experiences necessary to pursue careers in cancer research. Its overarching goal is to provide hands-on lab experience to non-Stanford undergraduates interested in further exploring cancer-related career tracks. This is a ten-week, in-person program funded by the American Cancer Society.

UNDOCUSTEM
UndocuSTEM aims to support undocumented students in the fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) through accessibility, opportunity, and resources by creating a program that promotes equity, racial justice, leadership, and career development. The UndocuSTEM program was founded by students, and funded through the LatinXCEL grant from the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
