All 4-H Volunteers need to re-enroll in 4-HOnline every year. Please make sure your club organizational leaders, 4-H Council Members and anyone who helps in anyway with 4-H in enrolled. You may re-enroll for the 23-24 year now!

Polk County 4-H is looking for adults from the Osceola and Stromsburg/Polk areas to serve on the 4-H Council.

By serving on council, you get to take an active role in supporting our local 4-H program. If you are interested or know someone who is interested, call the Extension Office at 402-747-2321 for more information. Nominations Due Thursday, November 9th.

Emails were sent out 10/25 to all 2024 Graduates containing details for applying for the Martha and Don Romeo Scholarship. In case you missed the message, below is the application. DEADLINE TO APPLY IS NOVEMBER 30.

Engler is an entrepreneurship program at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Our mission is to embolden our people on the courageous pursuit of their purpose through the art and practice of entrepreneurship. Rather than sit in lecture halls all day, Engler students engage in entrepreneurship the time-tested, tried-and-true way: learning by doing.

Applications are now open for the 2024 4-H Fed Steer Challenge! Through the 4-H Fed Steer Challenge, youth gain real-world experience evaluating, raising, and selling a market steer. Participants learn about production merit and carcass value, management best practices, and the workings of the cattle industry. They practice life skills like record-keeping, critical thinking, and communication. Interested in learning more? Join a virtual information session on November 8 at 8:00 p.m. CT.
