Arrival and Dismissal Information

Following SD ECLC’s arrival and dismissal procedures will promote the safe movement of students before and after our school day and support SD ECLC staff in the safe transition of students from our care to the care of parents/guardians.

On the first day, parents/guardians will not be permitted into the school building for security reasons. Please feel free to take photos and say good-byes before arrival begins at 8:40 am!

12:20 pm- 2:45 pm

Kindergarten & AM Preschool Arrival

Arrival valet begins promptly at 8:40 am

VALET SERVICE- Drive to the next available spot on the valet line. Staff will direct cars and buses in a calm and organized manner. Remain in your car at all times. Please be patient. You will be directed to pull through the parking lot towards the Kindergarten Playground then in front of the building by a staff member. Please pull up behind the car in front of you, unlock your car doors and have your child ready to exit on the right side of the vehicle with his or her backpack within reach. School staff will assist children exiting your vehicle and escort them into the building. Once students enter the building, they will be supervised by staff and escorted to their classrooms.

We strongly encourage all parents/guardians to utilize our Valet. Due to the configuration of the SD parking lot, valet drop off is the safest option.

PM Preschool Arrival

Arrival Valet begins promptly at 12:15 pm

Follow the Valet Service directions above.

We strongly encourage parent/guardians to use of our Valet service for safety reasons.

Kindergarten students picked up daily by a parent/guardian will be dismissed from Gym doors #2 & #3 on the side of the school at 3:30 pm. (Teacher's Parking Lot)

Buses will be parked in front of the school.

Please park your car in our Main Parking Lot, Galewood Drive, or Stephen Street. Please do not DOUBLE PARK.

Please do not park on Sycamore Drive. This small, narrow street must accommodate two way traffic with large school buses.

AM Preschool -Teachers dismiss students at 11:15 am.

PM Preschool-Teachers dismiss students at 2:45 pm

Ms. Coleman - will dismiss at Door # 13

Mrs. Pericas-will dismiss at Door #14

Mrs. Kaminski & Mrs. Mercado-will dismiss at Main Lobby doors

Ms. Shack & Mrs. Koestler- will dismiss at Door # 12

Park on Galewood Drive or in our Main Parking Lot.

Please note that the basketball court & playground will be closed during school hours.
