Fun In Grade One!
First Grade News For the Month of February
We appreciate all you do to assist your child through homework every night. We know that students are tired at the end of the night and we understand how busy the afternoons can be, especially with extra-curricular activities in full-swing.
As students are shifting from emergent to early/transitional readers, we would love for them to be reading to YOU for their nightly reading (when possible). Occasionally we will be sending books home books at your child's reading level so they can read to you. Here are some helpful tips on ways you can assist your child through the reading portion of their homework...

Please let us know if you have any questions, or if there are any ways we can support your child as they read at home!
Thanks for all you do,
Ms. Ladd, Mrs. Campbell, Ms. Pitera, Ms. Parham, Ms. Porter, and Mrs. El-Dada
