Milton PTO
Mrs. Guillory, Principal
Good evening Milton families,
I would like to begin by acknowledging the excitement and overwhelming support that we have received from the start of the school year. The teacher donations, the positive feedback, and close attention to the students academics does not go unnoticed. Our yellow jacket families continue to raise the bar by showing up whenever we call.
We are starting to prepare for our biggest fundraiser of the school year, COLOR RUN! Last year we raised over $84,000. We are looking to surpass this year’s goal of $88,000. The money has been used towards improvements at our school throughout the years. The marquee, asphalt track, chromebooks, playground structures, bathroom renovations, water bottle filling stations, repainting of the hallways, benches for students that wait for the buses in the afternoon, remodeled the two chorus buildings, and added concrete areas for the playground and the car rider line. Our next project is to continue bathroom renovations along with other improvement projects that will continue to be a school that we are proud of.
Together we will continue to give the best to our students through your support and donations. They deserve it!
Kind regards,
Mrs. Guillory, Principal
Stay in the loop:
Items to be dropped off at the office are only: Lunch, medication, and eyeglasses. If your student forgets their Chromebook a loaner is available to them through the library.
School Supply Toolbox - This is a PTO fundraiser that they host every year. Through your purchases were were able to achieve the following impact on our school:
We sold 318 school supply boxes with School Tool Box this year.
We raised $1181.00 from the fundraiser portion of our supply sale.
We helped feed 488 kids for a year through our 'One Box. One Meal. Two Kids.' program and Feed my Starving Children. Way to go!
We helped raise over $22,000 for Shriners Hospitals for Children by asking parents to round-up to the nearest dollar!
Outerwear- As the temperatures begin to lower please be mindful of the jacket policy, please visit the LPSS dress code policy here. We ask that you label all clothing items so that we are able to return them to the right owner.

We are in need of snack donations for this event and assistance with decorating. Please email Dr. Kizziar if you are able to help - etkizziar@lpssonline.com . 5th grade students and middle school students will participate in an outdoor sports day on Monday, Oct. 21.
