Every 5 years Sacred Heart School spends countless hours preparing to be reviewed by experts in the fields of mission & Catholic identity, governance & leadership, academic excellence, and operational vitality. A very large, evidence based report was submitted in September for review and now the team will be here to verify our evidence!

It is exciting to have visitors from other schools and from the Lansing Office of Diocesan Education visit Sacred Heart School to review our standing.

Sacred Heart Float will be lining up in the parade on Tiffin St at 5:30pm. The parade begins at 6pm. Your child is able to bring their own candy to throw if they wish. We will be dropping off at Ace Hardware parking lot when the parade is over, so please be prompt in picking your child/ren up. Please dress accordingly for the weather. We hope to see you there!

The teachers will be at a professional development conference to learn great new ways to teach your children.

Friday, October 4th- First Friday Eucharistic Procession after 9:00am Children's Mass

Friday, October 4th- Pet Blessing at 2:00

Wednesday, October 9th- Special Student Mass at 8:00am. Please wear Mass uniform!

Friday, October 11th- Donuts with Grown Ups. 7:00am-7:30am in the Church Hall

Tuesday, October 22nd- Field Trip (4th-6th Grade) Mary, Mother of the Eucharist (permission slips soon)

Wednesday, October 23rd- K-2nd grade field trip to the Stubnitz Center

Thursday, October 24th and Friday, October 25th- No School. Teachers are at a professional development conference
Sunday, October 27th- Trunk or Treat. 2:00pm-3:30pm. We encourage grandparents, aunts and uncles of our school family to join in this event with their trunks.

Saturday, November 9th- Be In Our Heart Gala to support SHS!
