PQ Tuesday Newsday

It is hard to believe that we are approaching the last month of school. We are all excited about the various events at school, at home, and in our communities. With that in mind, we are trying to keep as much of a routine as possible at school to maintain the learning environment. Please help us by trying to maintain routines and bedtimes for the next few weeks. It enables the students (and adults) when there continues to be a predictable routine.

Our kindergarten concert is on Friday at 1:00 pm in the school gym. We look forward to welcoming those students' families to PQ! The excitement in the K-wing is visible!

Coffee with the Principals is on Thursday this week at 9:00 am.

Monday is Memorial Day! Have a lovely long weekend!

5th Grade: T-shirt provided by PTO

This year students will be bused over to the MSHS so that they can use the new turf field for their Field Day events!

grades 3 - 5 ... 12:00 - 1:30

There will also be a DJ and Pizza provided by the PTO for all students at lunchtime.

An invitation to the 5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony has recently been mailed home to 5th Grade parents and guardians. Please keep a look out for it!

The 5th Grade Moving Up Ceremony will take place:

10:00 am

MSHS Auditorium

5th Grade students are to report to PQ at their normal time. We will use buses to transport the 5th Grade students over to the MSHS for the ceremony.

• K-5 will receive a virtual visit from writer Bob Shea on May 24. Bob Shea was chosen by K-5 students as a favorite read aloud in April, which makes his visit extra special
