The Summer seemed to fly by and the New School Year has begun! We are looking forward to a wonderful year ahead. I’m thrilled to kick off the 2024-2025 school year with all of you! Our shared commitment to placing our students at the heart of everything we do makes our school and the Tesoro Viejo community truly special. This year, our Parent Teacher Club has many exciting activities planned that will raise funds to enhance our students' experiences, including field trips and STEM initiatives in the classroom. Together, we can ensure a year filled with growth, learning, and joy for our kids.

President - Hollie Vogel
It's a new year and a new PTC board role for me. This year I will be serving as President of the Hillside PTC. I have one 7 year old son in second grade at Hillside. Last year I served on the PTC Board as the Event Coordinator and it was so much fun! We were able to raise a lot of funds for the school and host some really memorable events for Students and their Families too. I am looking forward to this year and seeing the PTC grow and flourish even more. We love this community and supporting our local school. Hope to see you at the next PTC meeting!

My husband Joshua and I have three kids at Hillside Jaxon (13), Jameson (10), and Charlotte (7). This will be our 4th year at Hillside and my second year serving on the PTC Board. I look forward to another successful year of supporting and enhancing the educational experience of Hillside students!

My husband Max and I have three boys, Andre, a Junior at Minarets, Markus, in 8th at Hillside, and Tony, in 6th at Hillside. This is our second year at Hillside and my first year on the PTC. I look forward to meeting more parents and having fun at all the planned events!

Hello! This year will be my first year with PTC and I am very excited! In December, it will be 2 years since we moved to Tesoro Viejo and we have enjoyed every minute of it. We have 2 children that attend Hillside and one in high school. I'm really looking forward to being part of this team and supporting our school by providing many wonderful and fun experiences at our school and community.

My husband JC and I moved from Mexico 10 years ago and this will be our 3rd year living in Tesoro Viejo. Our daughter Emma is in 1st grade and we just love this beautiful and wonderful community. It's my first year as a Hillside PTC board member and I am so excited to work with the school and parents to make this an amazing year.

Ways the Hillside PTC is making the student experience even better!
-For the first Day of school PTC worked with a Hillside parent who donated the most beautiful balloon backdrop. It was a fun addition to take pictures with and full of bright cheerful colors.
-New additional Seating and Coverings have been purchased and are on the way! Students will soon have more shaded areas and places to sit. Also, outside the office the white chairs will be replaced with new benches. More to come on this in the next newsletter edition.
September 21st - All Parent Mixer - TICKETS ON SALE NOW! 🎉
Come enjoy a night out with live music, food, DJ, photo booth, auction and more while socializing with fellow Hillside Parents. This will be a great opportunity to meet other parents in and outside of your student(s) classroom and exchange contact information. The event will start at 5pm and go till 8pm in the Bodega Room at the Tesoro Viejo Ranch House. This event is 21 and over.
