• Today's Spirit theme is Kinder Self Day, stop by the Quad at lunch if you're dressed up and pick up a treat.
• Today pick up your Cowbell Classic shirt from 4-7pm outside the BV stadium (look for the red popup tent)
• BV's first Pep Rally Day is Tomorrow, help your class get more rally points by wearing your Class Shirts or Class Colors! (9th=Gray, 10th=Black, 11th=White, 12th=Red)

• Auditions begin Today for BV's Fall Play, "Clue on Stage" and will run through Tomorrow. Meet in the Cafeteria from 3:30pm - 6:00pm. Students plan to attend both days of auditions!
• Purchased Student planners and class t-shirts will continue to be distributed during 4th period classes.
• Students can still sign up and join a Club. Stop by the office student bulletin board or look for Flyers around campus. Last day to sign up is September 20.
• Two ways to Purchase Tickets in Advance for Sports Home Games
  
1. Buy student tickets in advance with cash at the finance office OR
2. Online via Gofan.co, no cash sales at the gates!
• Picture Makeup day is September 18. This is not for retakes! If you are new or did not have your photo taken on the second day of school, this is the day to have your photo taken & to get your ID card.

• First Rally is TOMORROW!
• Back to School Night is Thursday, September 12
• Minimum day is Friday, September 13

• Tonight's and Tomorrow's Girls Flag Football Games have been CANCELLED.
• Come show your support, wear RED and cheer on Freshman Football at Tonight's Home Game against Casa at 7pm.
• Tomorrow night is the Cowbell Classic Game (BV vs. Casa) here at BV! RED OUT Theme. JV starts at 6pm and Varsity 7:45pm. Go Broncos!
• Attention Wrestlers or anybody interested in wrestling, preseason practices have started. We are practicing on Mondays & Wednesdays after school in the Atrium. Stop by Coach Lane’s room (i-6) for more information. You must be cleared on Sportsnet.
• Boys Basketball Open Gym is Tuesday & Thursday in the Large Gym from 6:30-8pm & Saturday 10-12pm.

• The HBCU Recruitment Fair for 11th and 12th grade students: Thursday, September 12th, from 1:30-3:30 at El Camino HS. Students can get offers for admission and scholarships. Stop by Mrs. Gonzalez's A6 with questions or to pick up permission slip to ride the bus. Permission slips are due by September 9.

• Student Volunteers needed for the October PTSA Craft Fair! If you need volunteer hours, see the flyer for signups at the office student bulletin board or see Mrs. Sloan in the Library.
• Students planning to participate in 2024-2025 sports must be registered on Sports Net and have a current sports physical on file before conditioning, practices or tryouts.
• Hey fellow travelers, are you in need of an adventure? Join Mr. Lane and Ms. Yassu on a trip to Switzerland, Italy, Rome and Paris this Summer. For more information stop by either of their classrooms and talk to one of them. Look for flyers posted all over the school!
