2024-2025 Grade 5 Music Lessons
Hello RO 4th grade families,
As we approach the end of the school year, we are starting to prepare for next year. In 5th grade, music is set up differently than in prior grades. Instead of attending general music as a homeroom, 5th grade students choose between Band, Orchestra, Chorus, or General Music. These classes all meet once a week just like their current music classes and the Massachusetts music standards are covered in all classes. This has worked very well this year and gives students a chance to work with students from a few different classrooms each week.
In order to create the schedule for next year, we need to have students pick their music class for next year. Open the google form below for more information about the music class options and to sign up for next year’s music class. Please complete the form by May 10th. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to a music faculty member for more information.
