Cypress Cubs News πΎπΎ
Dear Cypress Families,
What an adventure-filled week weβve had! Our Annual FOAM Run today was a massive success, and I want to thank everyone who made it possibleβespecially our amazing PTA for organizing such a fun-filled event. It was truly heartwarming to see the campus come alive with the laughter of our Cypress Explorers and their families, all joining in the foamy goodness! Your participation and support are what make events like these so special, and the funds raised will directly benefit our students through classroom grants and field trips.
Honoring Our Extraordinary Explorers
Recently, we celebrated our Character of the Month recipients, recognizing those who showed exemplary attributes of Self-Control and Responsibility. These students are setting the bar high on their adventure toward personal growth!
A special shout-out also goes to our top Mathletes for September! These students worked diligently to complete the most iReady lessons. Their perseverance and dedication are truly commendable! The classrooms with the highest number of lessons completed were treated to a popsicle partyβwhat a sweet reward for all that hard work!
Attendance: The Key to Every Great Adventure

Tiny Tuesday β°
Please mark your calendar to remember that all Tuesdays are early dismissals at 12:10 p.m.
School Uniform ππ©³
District K-5 schools have a mandatory uniform/standardized dress policy adopted by the Board of Education. This policy provides an opportunity for students to dress neatly for school, and it helps students to look at othersβ character instead of their attire.
Tuesday Dress
No Crocs or Sandals. π©΄
Due to slipping and tripping issues, crocs and sandals are NOT ALLOWED as they are a safety hazard.
Safety is our #1 Priority πΈ
Please prioritize the safety of our school community by strictly adhering to the parking lot rules. Following traffic guidelines and reducing your speed is crucial for a secure and efficient drop-off and pick-up process. Your commitment to these rules ensures a safe environment for our students and their families and contributes to the overall well-being of our school community. Thank you for your cooperation in maintaining a secure and orderly school environment.
At this time, the middle lane will remain closed, beginning at 8:00 AM. Please plan accordingly. Breakfast begins at 7:40 AM so you are more than welcomed to drop off earlier to beat the traffic. If you are parking, please be mindful when backing up and exiting the parking lot, in a safe manner.
Please follow traffic and parking laws and courteous practices for the safety of our students and for our neighbors.
